Documentary Film Premiere: "A Dollar and a Dream"

Abstract
As part of Clare Hall’s America Week celebrating American history and culture, the week’s events will feature the premiere of “A Dollar and a Dream,” a film by the documentary filmmaker Meghan Horvath about the recent US Presidential Election seen through the eyes of a British political activist. This screening will take place on 15 June at 8pm in the Robinson College auditorium, and will be followed by a panel discussion, exhibition opening, and wine reception featuring American wines. The panel discussion will also take in issues of Obama’s first five months in office and will include:
Professor Andrew Gamble (Head of the Politics Department, Cambridge) Malcolm Clark (Electoral Reform Society) Lewis Baston (Guardian columnist)
