The Particle Swarm – Explosion, Stability, and Convergence

We review this paper by Clerc and Kennedy on Particle Swarm Optimization.

There will be a basic overview of the Particle Swarm method, followed by a discussion of the techniques presented within the paper which ensure the convergence of such optimization simulations.
