Abstract
Transportation system is the key part of infrastructure for a city towards sustainable development. Configuration of road network, structure and material of pavement, and policies of traffic management have great influence over efficiency of transportation system. New pavement technologies and traffic planning models have been developed to support the sustainable transportation system in China. Application samples are demonstrated, including scheme of traffic planning for 2010 Shanghai Expo.
