Abstract
Tim Pankhurst works for Plantlife, the charity set up in the late eighties to work for wild plants and their habitats. For example, they run ‘Back from the Brink’, a frequently successful rescue programme for over 300 wild flowers which were or still are on the verge of extinction. In 2009, Tim was working as the Wetlands Officer fenland areas, but in 2010 he will be concentrating on the unusual and often endangered flowers of the Brecklands.
