Abstract
The LOFAR wide-area sky survey LoTSS aims to cover almost all of the Northern sky with a typical sensitivity of 144 MHz per 6-arcsec beam at 144 MHz. This high sensitivity and resolution enables a very wide range of science, particularly when combined with new wide-area optical imaging and spectroscopic surveys. I’ll give a brief overview of the survey and some highlights from the AGN -related science we’ve been doing with it, together with a look at future prospects for LOFAR 2 .0 and the SKA .
