Abstract
All explosive articles need to undergo experimental trials in order to handle and transport safely. Additionally, the researching the behaviour of energetic materials cannot solely be limited to gram levels in laboratories and computational modelling. This talk is on larger (kilogram) scale explosive trials: what they are, why they are done and the steps taken to do them from a more practical than theoretical perspective.
