Abstract
CUGS is thrilled to announce our third speaker of Michaelmas term.
The Halford Mackinder Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford, Professor Danny Dorling, is well known for his contribution to a diverse range of fields in Geography, including published books such as ‘Population Ten Billion’, ‘The no-nonsense guide to equality’ and ‘All that is solid- The great housing disaster’.
Professor Dorling is in Cambridge to talk about the relationships between Geography and Inequality, and the role we play in it.
8pm on the 26th of November in the Queen’s Building Lecture Theatre at Emmanuel College – ask for directions at the Porter’s lodge!
