Nanocapillaries: Cheap and Safe Nanotech

The talk will summarize the exciting field of nanocapillaries and nanopores for the detection and analysis of single molecules. Furthermore, the presentation will explain our current results in the Cavendish laboratories. They show that nanocapillaries are a cheap (nano)technology for the detection of single DNA molecules and offer new applications in the field of single molecule experiments.
