Abstract
Katherine will give an overview of her PhD which focused on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), young people’s mental health, routine data, and early intervention. The talk will cover: 1) A Delphi study to develop a framework of risk factors to build AI-powered early identification tools, 2) Use of the SAIL Databank (a database of linkable routine data sources) to measure ACEs, and 3) An umbrella review of early interventions to mitigate mental health problems after experiencing ACEs. In brief: work at Nesta, bringing research practice into the policy world.
