It is often said that patients themselves are the biggest untapped group of care-givers. By supporting patients in their desire to take more responsibility for their own health management, there is an opportunity to improve both patient engagement and cost effectiveness. The 3 speakers will explore needs and possible solutions from the viewpoint of the clinician, a medical device company and a software company:

Dr Steven Laitner (NHS East of England) Darren Umbers (Philips Respironics) Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli (Patients Know Best)

This event is FREE to staff / students of Cambridge University. Please see: http://www.cambridgenetwork.co.uk/events/article/default.aspx?objid=67428 to register.
