Abstract
“An Introduction to High-Dimensional Problems, Sparsity and Oracle Inequalities”
which sets out some of the main ideas that motivate the research Vladimir is talking about later in his seminar. It will be at 4pm in MR12 , and it will take about 40minutes. We will then have tea, and proceed to Vladimir’s talk at 5pm.
This does not require any background and should be accessible to all.
