Abstract
I will be describing the work I have done over the last two summers under supervision of Dr Per Ola Kristensson. In gesture-based input systems the traditional practice is to analyse the user’s input after the user has completed the input. In the case of misrecognition by the recognition framework the user is left with a sense of despair since there is no way of rectifying the input, and an unwanted command may already have been executed. I have developed a system to provide continuous feedback to the user in real-time as a gesture is being drawn. This work was recently submitted to CHI 2011 .
