Towards a common vocabulary of practice – Looking back to imagine the future

A team of educators, historians, architects and associated academics headed up by Catherine Burke from the Faculty of Education University of Cambridge have completed studies of a series of primary schools designed by David and Mary Medd, architects. A series of short stories in film have been made by the team during visits to three schools with David Medd.

6.15pm Background to the study ‘Principles of Primary School Design’ and introduction to the publication and films

6.45pm Lessons from Norway. Thomas Moser, Prof. PhD.Vestfold University College, Early Childhood Research Centre, Faculty of Education, Tønsberg, Norway.

7.00pm Transforming Children’s Spaces – Alison Clark (Open University) and Jennifer Singer (CABE)
