Aubrey de Grey believes that the first person who will live to the age of 1000 has already been born. He claims that regenerative medicine can potentially thwart indefinitely the aging process, and in this talk discussed his “Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence”.

Aubrey de Grey is a gerontologist and editor of the academic journal Rejuvenation Research. He is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of SENS Foundation, a not-for-profit American organisation which works on rejuvenation biotechnology.
