Discrete Analysis

Nigel Kalton passed away on August 2010. Shortly before his death, he sent me several remarkable preprints that contain major progress on embedding theory. In this talk I will present some of his new results, explain at least one of his beautiful proofs in detail, and describe the significance of these results and some problems that remain open.
