Abstract
Reality Therapy
Developed by Glasser with significant contributions by Wubbolding, Reality Therapy is designed to be a short-term, practical approach to change. Maintaining that people are responsible for their own behaviors, Reality Therapy includes a focus on choice theory in regard to five basic needs, a self-examination of current behavior, and a plan to change behavior to reflect current goals. This approach can also be applied to a variety of counseling settings.
