Abstract
The concept of maintenance includes all actions which contribute to retaining assets in their functioning states. Interactions between sub-systems of the complex assets can have an influence on maintenance. This study aims to provide quantitative support for asset managers in the area of maintenance decision making. Mathematical models would be developed to optimise the maintenance plan for such complex assets.
