Abstract
Dr Helen McShane leads the TB vaccine programme at Oxford University and is working on a BCG challenge model. MVA85A , the original new TB vaccine she developed at Oxford, is currently in clinical trials in the UK, The Gambia, Senegal and South Africa and is one of the world’s leading new TB vaccines.
