We will outline a proof of Kontsevich’s homological mirror symmetry conjecture for a smooth Calabi-Yau hypersurface in projective space. This includes, for example, the quintic threefold. We will also outline proofs of homological mirror symmetry for some Fano hypersurfaces in projective spaces.
