Abstract
How did India and Pakistan feature in films made post Independence and what were the political agendas that influenced their representation? This seminar aims to answer these questions and includes a selection of film clips, photographs and interviews which are discussed in a comparative analysis with the private papers held by the Centre of South Asian Studies.
