Abstract
Good Building Contractors need Bright Engineers
I propose to tell the story of the birth of a 1200 t bridge, above the roof tops of central London. It will illustrate the structural gymnastics required and will demonstrate the requirement for the best engineers in the construction industry (in addition to the established career routes through consultancies).
