Abstract
The presentation gives a look at some of the challenges faced by ships when operating in ice conditions, some history and operations, plus a bird’s eye of icebreaker operations in the northern Baltic together with a look at how icebreakers work in other regions.
We wil also look at how icebreakers have evolved with future designs & projects
