Abstract
In his thesis (1994), John Longley gave an elegant characterization of those geometric morphisms between realizability toposes which satisfy a certain Beck—Chevalley condition. In this seminar, I shall briefly recall Longley’s characterization, and then give the recently-discovered proof that the Beck—Chevalley condition is always satisfied.
