- đ Venue: Unilever Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry
Abstract
The development and application of experimental and kinetic modelling methods for study of atmospheric aerosols will be presented. Core experimental techniques will include ultrasonic and optical levitation, Raman microscopy and neutron reflectometry. Main focus will be the oxidative ageing of organic species (e.g. those originating from meat cooking emissions) by ozone and nitrogen oxides.
