Abstract
Abstract: Asking about changes in Mambila religion over the last hundred years encourages reflection on sources and evidence. This takes us back to themes discussed by Horton in the 1960s but now perhaps we have to ask how the discussion should change granted our increased awareness of the fragility of our sources.
