Abstract
The world’s largest particle accelerator, the LHC , has been running extremely well during the last couple of years. The data recorded by the experiments is of extremely high quality, surpassing most expectations. To get the most out of the data by comparing them to theory, predictions of evenly high quality are a must. In this talk I’ll discuss the FxFx merging procedure, implemented in the aMC@NLO program, that allows for the simulation of events and comparisons to data at unprecedented precision.
