In this talk we will show how you can apply the MATLAB Technical Computing Workflow to a medical image segmentation problem. You will see how you can both explore and experiment in an intuitive way, as well as going on to develop useful batch processing tools that can be distributed to non-MATLAB users. We will explore some of the most useful tools in MATLAB ’s Image Processing Toolbox and touch upon some of the more advanced applications for visualisation and analysis. We will also look at easily parallelising your algorithms for high performance using Parallel Computing Toolbox.

This talk is part of the Centre for Scientific Computing series.
