We present the recently proposed variational principle for Lagrangian 1-form structures both discrete and continuous in the space of multi-time variables, in which the action functionals depend not only on the dynamical (dependent) variables of the system but also on the (parametrised) curves in the space of (independent) time-variables which define the dynamics in terms of multitime fl ows. It was conjectured that the only admissible Lagrangians allowing such structures are the integrable ones.
