Colin Clews will give an introduction to bee-keeping, illustrated with photos of every stage, from building a hive right through to collecting swarms, treating them for varroa, and extracting honey. He has been keeping bees for 5 years now, first near Angelsey Abbey and now in his garden. This event forms part of the Transition Cambridge Summer Festival; more details here .
