Abstract
Last summer I took part in Code First:Girls, a 9 week course covering basics such as HTML , CSS, Google Analytics and collaboration on Github. Following this I joined the committee for Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC) where I’ve since worked with many people and groups in Cambridge entrepreneurial network. Having begun my final year on track to take a job in consultancy, I’ve changed course and now have a place on Entrepreneur First where I’ll create a technology startup of my own.
I’ll be talking about each of these programmes and how I feel more female undergraduates can be welcomed into the world of technology and computing.
