This Horizon event will present some of the ground breaking research conducted in physics at the world famous Cavendish Laboratory. Our objective is to explore the unexpected relationships between far-out science and breakthrough technology or applications of the future. Experts from optoelectronics, quantum science, astronomy, biological physics and life science engineering will demonstrate how their research and methodologies have shaped many of todays applications across all industry sectors.
