We further benchmark AdS/CMT by studying conventional Cooper pair driven phase transitions in finite density holography. Since the emergent quasiparticle descriptions on both the gauge theory and the gravity side are identical, this corresponds to conventional BCS theory coupled to gravity in the bulk. We study these self-gravitating "BCS-star" solutions both the in macroscopic fluid limit and in the semi-microscopic single Fermi surface limit. The latter requires the introduction of a hard wall to control the IR.
