Abstract
The launch of the new Wellcome Trust-Cambridge Centre for Global Health Research (WT-CCGHR, http://www.cambridge-africa.cam.ac.uk/cambridge-in-africa-initiatives/global-health-institute/), which has a focus on Africa, is being held jointly with the Cambridge Infectious Diseases (http://www.infectiousdisease.cam.ac.uk/)’s annual meeting. We have therefore prepared a joint programme which should appeal to many researchers across the University of Cambridge and beyond.
