Abstract
The effectiveness of fungicides is threatened by genetic resistance of the pathogen. Mixing or alternating different fungicides have been proposed as strategies for reducing the rate of resistance development in pathogen populations. We use modelling approaches to identify the relative merit of these competing strategies.
