Abstract
1st year graduate talk
During meiosis homologous chromosomes exchange genetic information through the formation of crossovers – points of genetic recombination. Crossover distribution and frequency is non-uniform throughout the genome, and variable between natural accessions of Arabidopsis thaliana. This project aims to identify and characterise factors affecting meiotic recombination.
