Abstract
I’ll be talking about loading, storing and displaying data in Facebook iOS application. I will describe approaches and technologies that we used for it, issues that we ran into and new frameworks that we created to solve them.
Short Bio: I’m a Software Engineer at Facebook on Sharing and Content Creation team. I have been working for Facebook for slightly more than a year now and took part in projects to improve architecture of newsfeed and comments in Facebook main iOS application. My current work is focused on introducing ways people can create and view content in the app. Before joining Facebook I have been working as a Software Engineer in Yandex, Russian search engine, after graduating with masters degree in Computer Science from St.Petersburg State Polytechnic University.
