Prof. Sir Peter Lachmann FRS will be speaking on “Active and Passive Immunization against Infectious Disease”. Sir Lachmann is emeritus Sheila Joan Smith Professor of Immunology at the University of Cambridge and has held a number of distinguished positions including President of the Royal College of Pathologists, Biological Secretary of the Royal Society, and Founder President of the UK’s Academy of Medical Sciences.
