Abstract
Even otherwise educated, well-informed people often have fundamental misconceptions about the basic science of radioactive materials and radiation. These all tend to lead to people being far more concerned about nuclear power than they would otherwise be. In this talk Julian explains what the most common misconceptions are, why they’re important and how we might go about correcting them.
Series This talk is part of the Engineering Department Nuclear Energy Seminars series.
