Join the Centre of Governance & Human Rights & the Cambridge Review of International Affairs in celebrating the launch Dr. Ricardo Soares de Oliveira’s new book, Magnificent and Beggar Land. Dr. de Oliveira, an Associate Professor in Comparative Politics at the University of Oxford, will introduce his newest work, described as a ‘Fascinating, provocative, and based on extensive field research, the book is an in-depth contribution to understanding Angola’s path after the end of the civil war’.
