Abstract
Developing nations such as India seek to increase their economies, but to do so in a way that will attract external finance and reduce the energy and carbon implications of their growth. This talk uses recent experience with the design and assessment of low economic corridors in India, exploring the technical, financial and economic challenges that beset such development, and strategies to reduce those challenges.
