A free two-day professional development course for KS4 mathematics teachers Delivered over two linked days: 25 June and 9 July 2015

This free CPD training is designed to support teachers in adapting to the challenges of the transition to the new GCSE Mathematics specifications, for first teaching from 2015.

Led by the NRICH secondary team, this linked pair of CPD training days will address the content of the new GCSE curriculum and focus on key areas including problem-solving, reasoning and fluency. Participants will attend both days.

The events will share how to embed rich mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice, and focus on supporting teachers to develop and nurture confident, resourceful and enthusiastic learners of mathematics in their schools.
