Abstract
The Department of Chemistry will award its first ever Alumni Medal to Dr Yusuf K Hamied, for services to the community that have brought honour to the department. Dr Hamied, Chair of the socially conscious Indian pharmaceutical firm Cipla, will speak about his life and experience.
