Identifying the best automation opportunities for your business.

Automation can deliver significant improvements in productivity but poorly considered solutions can lead to expensive mistakes. This event will explore the opportunities offered by automation from a number of different perspectives, highlighting both its benefits and its challenges, and looking at the factors which determine a successful outcome.

As well as showcasing current robotics, we will also consider the manufacturing implications of wider technology areas such as Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things.

The morning will include: •Speakers from industry sharing their expertise and first-hand experiences •An introduction to the IfM’s ‘Automation Assessment’ tool which helps companies understand what and when to automate – and some recent case studies •A demonstration of the IfM’s robot lab •Opportunities to meet key automation suppliers and see their latest equipment
