Please join the Cambridge Migration Research Forum (CAMMIGRES) and Cambridge Migration Society for the Cambridge screening of the documentary film ‘Everyday Borders’.

‘Everyday Borders’ was made by the University of East London’s Centre for Research on Migration, Refugees and Belonging, in conjunction with Southall Black Sisters, Migrant Rights Network and the Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London.

The documentary film examines the impact of the 2014 Immigration Act on British society, exploring the various ways in which the ‘border’ is increasingly entering into everyday life.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Orson Nava (film director), Dr Georgie Wemyss (University of East London, author of ‘The Invisible Empire: White Discourse, Tolerance and Belonging’, Ashgate, 2009) and representatives from Southall Black Sisters and Migrants’ Rights Network.

This talk is part of the 'Everyday Borders' documentary film screening & panel discussion series.
