SDB - Stochastic dynamical systems in biology: numerical methods and applications

This lecture describes the asymptotic computation for the mean escape time of a stochatic process through a potentia barrier. 
The analysis uses singular perturbation of the second order operator.  The method follows the classical Matkovsky-Schuss 1977.
