Prof Secord will talk about the different (and often conflicting) ways that zoology has been pursued, displayed and taught at Cambridge starting with John Ray (1628-1705), one of the most eminent and influential naturalists of his time, but focussing mainly on the 19th and 20th centuries.

This talk is part of the Zoology Department - Tea Talks series.
