Open to postdocs and 3rd year PhD students (from Plant Sciences and SLCU). Registration required.

We are all depending on different funding sources to do our exciting research. And a lot of us are working on fellowship or are involved in funding applications. So, you are probably wondering what is really important in the application process, and how is your applications evaluated?

The seminar will concentrate on two European funding opportunities, the Marie-Curie fellowship and the Horizon-2020 program.

· Graham Dransfield, who is a research facilitator at Chem Eng and evaluates Marie Curie fellowship applications, will talk about the application process and give us some of his insights.

· Renata Schaeffer from the Research Office deals with European applications and will talk about Horizon-2020 applications and relevant points for postdocs.
