Eleventh William Pitt Seminar: A Higher Purpose: the role of universities in C21st Britain

The eleventh in our series of talks, this year’s will be focussing on the role of universities in the future. Taking part will be:

  • Chair: Bridget Kendall MBE , Master, Peterhouse
  • Dr Tanya Goldhaber: E-commerce Manager BT and Pembroke alumna (2010)
  • Professor Helen Small: Pembroke College Oxford and Pembroke (Cambridge) alumna (1987)
  • Lord Willetts: former Minister for Universities and Science.

Following the presentations the floor will be opened up to the audience for an extensive question and answer session.

The seminar will start at 4pm (refreshments from 3.15pm)in Peterhouse Theatre and will be followed by a drinks reception and dinner in Pembroke. If you wish to attend please contact corporate@pem.cam.ac.uk to register your interest.
