Abstract
The Web Observatory aims to become a global distributed resource that will support engagement with datasets and analytics. It is envisaged to provide a distributed catalogue reverse proxies for secure access to data and apps published by its users. This presents technological, legal and ethical challenges especially for IoT datasets. This talk will present those challenges, discuss the concept of the IoT Web Observatory of the EPSRC -funded PETRAS Internet of Things Hub and how those challenges are being addressed.
