Abstract
What is the connection between generative modelling and neural networks? Variational Autoencoders & Generative Adversarial Networks in depth: from basics to the state-of-the-art.
There is no specific reading list, but cursory familiarity with generative modelling and relevant inference methods will make this talk much easier to digest.
